WECLOME TO MY BLOG ! !

Click one of the links to the right under “categories” to see what I’ve posted. “Assignments” are pictures I did for Mr. Street. “Random Pictures” is just random stuff I thought was cool or did when I was bored or something like that. Probably will end up being mostly pictures of my pets. Here is some general info about me:

My name is Jake Sullivan, I’m eighteen years old I’m a twelfth grader at CDO in Tucson, Arizona, where I’ve lived my whole life. I like all kinds of art, especially music, movies, and photography. Music is probably most inspirational to me, but not so much in photography, because it’s kind of hard to take pictures inspired by music… for me at least. But that’s why I’m learning about photography, so I can get better.

I take pictures mainly for myself so that I can have something to be proud of and know that I made it, but I hope that my friends will like looking at pictures I’ve taken too. Other than that, I’m not super concerned with people I don’t know liking my pictures, as long as I’m proud of them.

I hope that by the end of the year I will be to the point where I can take well composed, meaningful pictures, and make graphics well enough that I could rely on my new skill as a way to make money on the side if I ever decided to. My Photoshop and photography skills will be my most useful tools, because there’s a lot of things happening all the time that should be photographed.
